2 Nov 2007 - Youth Club Update 02/11/07

As of the 02/11/07 youth club, there are extra lighitng dotted around the playground for your benefit. All wires are in out-of-bound places so no one will get hurt! We have also have a fixed light lighting up the walkway ot the hall. Hopefully less items will be lost here!!

The completion of the toilets happened over half term with the hand drier being installed. This is welcomed by both the youth club and the nursery.

Laptop and pen drive rentals will start as of next youth club (16/11/07). There is a news item on this in the news archive and you can download documents from the "Documents" page, to be signed by parents if you want to book one as straight away. This is in a trial period - so far renting a laptop is FREE but may change after the trial period. Please see Sherrick or Paul for details on renting a laptop. We will give you a small demonstration first and will show you how to use certain programs. If there are any other programs, please say so before booking.

There will be a special Children In Need event on the 16/11/07. There will be no fancy dress but there will be games, stalls and a talent show. All money raised from the night including entrance fee will be going to Children In Need. We will also have the TV program from BBC1 shown in the Green Room and collection buckets going around all night.

Can we please remind all members not to go on the banks as it is very unsafe and someone can hurt themselves.

All computers at the youth club now have Internet and we will be thinking of what sort of console will shall be getting next for the other TV. Please see Matt for any suggestions!
