19 Apr 2007 - New equipment for the youth club

So far we have the Friday Film nights up and running but now you can see even more being changed at the youth club.

When you think you have spotted a new thing at the youth club - why not tell us by email and also tell us if you like it or not.

We are still trying to improve the youth club so still tell us your suggestions by email.

From April 27th you can see the youth club disco and music systems being upgraded. To go with modern technology we have got a computer music system so that you can still hear your favourite songs in good quality but you can also add to it to. Not only do you have to listen the music we have, you can bring in your own music and put it on the youth club laptop by USB (Pen Drive) or Bluetooth it to the computer via your phone.

For those special nights we are also introducing the new karaoke machine to the club so that you can still have a sing along. These events will be run by Tania.

After half term you will see a very big difference to the games room, they will contain computers which will you will be able to use to play games, go on the internet and use for homework/revision purposes.

We will also be starting up a new rental laptop service so that you will be able to rent out a laptop from the youth club for the two weeks and then return it. This can be used for doing homework at home or accessing the internet for revision purposes.

Like new games, like to play on the Wii and Xbox360, you will soon be able to play on these consoles at the youth club and we will may start competitions up like last time.
Don't know who is a helper? Well you will soon be able to tell the difference when we may start introducing new coloured uniforms to the youth club. You will not be able to miss them. Junior helpers will be red, so you can always spot them - and they will have the EMIYC badge.

Do you like having the hot food at the youth club - would you like to have more healthier food at the youth club? Like to cool down on those baking summers day?

Look no further then the youth club tuck shop, we will still be offering hot food for now but hopefully soon, we will be introducing new healthier alternatives like fruit but still make it enjoyable. Smoothies and possibly ice creams may also be added to the menu very soon.
